Magical Objects: The Deathly Hallows

Assalamualaikum.

Hello again Potterheads! Now, who wants to be The Master of Deaths? I’m sure that all of us want to have a great power right? But, be careful my fellow wizards and witches, it may lead you to a doom life  like Voldemort did. The Master of Death? What is it? It is the three highly powerful magical objects which are The Elder Wand, The Resurrection Stone and The Invisibility Cloak. The Deathly Hallows magical objects are believed possessed by The Peverell Brothers. Below is the video about The Story of The Three Brothers. 

The Tales of the Three Brothers

According to the legend, he who possessed the three objects will be the Master of Death which he will be immortal and undefeated. The Story of Deathly Hallows is told in the children ‘s books, Beedle the Bard which entitled as The Tale of Three Brothers. However, most of the wizards and witches believed that that story is a myth in order to entertain the young wizards and witches.

The Elder Wand

The Elder was first possessed by Antioch Peverell who wished to be the powerful wizard and undefeatable. In order to have the wand, the one who possessed it must be lost in the battle. It has a lot of terrible stories on how the wizards and witches fight against each other to have the wand. The Elder Wand possessed by Albus Dumbledore after he won the battle between Gellert Grindelwald. When Voldemort knew, he took it from Dumbledore’s graveyard in the Deathly Hallows’s story.

The Resurrection Stone

The resurrection stone was asked by the second Peverell brother, which was Cadmus Peverell who wanted to bring his loved one from the grave. However, it’s against the law of the living and dead, so it made the second brother became crazy and hung himself. This object appeared in sixth series, Harry Potter and the Half-blood prince, which Dumbledore wanted to have it in order to bring his sister, Ariana Dumbledore. But the object is cursed by Voldemort, which lead him to death.

The Invisibility Cloak

The Cloak of Invisibility owned the third brother, Ignotus Peverell. It is believed that, The Potters family is the descendants of the Peverell family, which make Harry Potter the former owner of the cloak. The cloak appeared in the first novel, which he received from Albus Dumbledore as his Christmas gift.
